Why Peggy Gaines
I didn’t start out my career with the intention to practice and teach meditation. My professional journey began as an RN. I married and had two children. However, as I’m sure you know, life is a journey and not always an easy one. Meditation became an invaluable tool to me when my family and I faced the most difficult challenge of our lives.
In 2006, our 18-year-old son was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. Over the course of the next three years, we struggled to understand and cope with this devastating experience. Meditation was a tremendous help to me and to my son as he fought and eventually lost his battle with cancer.
Practicing and embracing all meditation has to offer helped me deal with this loss and recognize that sometimes the most difficult times reap the greatest spiritual growth.
My Approach to Meditation Today
Now I help my clients learn how to use meditation to reduce their stress and recapture their lives. I have kept my nursing licenses current and approach mediation from a scientific mindset.
I don’t have to tell you we live in a chaotic, stressful world, full of uncertainties, challenges and obstacles. Incorporating meditation into our lives creates countless benefits, including physical, emotional and even career advancement.
- Researchers have been studying meditation for decades now and overwhelmingly agree that regularly practicing meditation for even 20 minutes per day causes physiological changes in the body. While stress relief is the reason many clients seek my help, many are surprised to find meditation improves every aspect of their life, including their careers.
- There is a growing trend among highly successful CEOs and other business leaders to incorporate meditation into their morning routine. They find meditation improves their ability to focus, problem solve and make better decisions, giving them a competitive edgeGain.
Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to help my clients learn how to reduce their stress, improve their mental and physical health — and advance their careers.
